How to apply Re-Design with Prima – in 5 easy steps
1.cut Re-Design with Prima (IF NEEDED)
ReDesign with Prima can be easily cut with scissors. This allows you to arrange the design to perfectly fit your project space.
2.jam the transfer by removing the support
The transfer has two sheets: the top sheet with the design printed on it + the white substrate. Arrange both layers of ReDesign with Prima as desired in your project piece. When you like the look of it, secure the top sheet with tape and carefully remove the white cover. I start at one corner and remove the backing / tape in place at the same time, slowly working my way across the section.
3. Rub the design onto the surface with the re design tool.
ReDesign with Prima is delivered in a tube. Each tube has a special application tool, a small rod. Use the rod to gently rub all over your design until the image is transferred from the plastic to your surface.
4. Polish (which means rub a little more)
Once your entire design is transferred to your piece, you need to polish it. That's just a better way of saying you need to rub it in more. With a cloth, rub it gently on the edges or where you see bubbles.
5. Seal your project
ReDesign with Prima is super thin paper. It must be sealed for protection. You can use wax or your favorite water-based varnish, but don't forget to seal your work.
